Default some ideas of what to do about my cat bolts

im putting on my new skunk2 cat back exhaust and was wondering if i have to change my cat flange bolts, the ones pressed in. I took off the exhaust and the bolts are great, so can i just bolt the exhaust up to the old bolts instead of dealing with taking them off or do i need to change them. any insight would be great, Thanks

you can knock the bolts out and replace them with a similar size and length. just buy a bolt with a corresponding nut and washers

you don't need to remove the cat studs, just bolt the catback up.

Correct, do not change the cat studs and you can use the OEM nuts for the cat studs too.

It's ok to break them. They are just pressed in. you hammer them out and go to the hardware shop and get new nuts and bolts.

now, i bolted the pipe up nice and tight and it fits really well but the cat studs when fully tightened are flush with the nut. My ? is will it be strong enough or do the studes have to thread past the nut or will it come loose over time if the stud isn't threaded past the nut. I dont think this will happen but was just wondering what everybody else thinks.
