Default Slim radiator fan

So just started my FI project and I got a mishimoto slim radiator shroud. I got it and it was complete junk. Welds were terrible and fitment was so off it wouldn't even fit. My mechanic talked to them and they are redisigning them.

Are there other options you guys would suggest?

Spal makes good fans. Go for the high or extreme performance models. As far as the shroud, its essentially just a sheet of stainless steel or aluminum. You could have one fabbed up to your liking. Honestly, the factory fans cool very well. The only reason I have a spal fan is because I have the Ptuning kit.

Best radiator available for the s2k http://www.mrsideways.com/s2000radiator.html

The single core is 2.25" thick. All these radiators are 2-pass units and proven track worthy for FI setups.

Shroud. He was asking about what shroud to use.

This forum often makes me fear for the future of our world. Attention deficit has apparantly obliterated reading comprehension.

^ The title says radiator fan, body says shroud and the follow-on posts talk about radiators. Hell if I know what we're discussing

If you're tracking the car, ditch the shroud. You're radiator is more efficient unobstructed. Like I said, get a better radiator if you're having cooling issues.

I have mishimoto fan shroud installed on my full blown radiator not long ago, everything works great, I had not fitment issues nor technical problems. What kind of radiator do you get? Try SPAL fans.
