edit

After going thru the sound logs that they still had on line. I hit a high of 90.7 at one event, I had a 97.7 but I think that was a bad reading. I hit 85 or below 9 times and 86-89 5 times.

They try and setup the mic at 50 ft from the edge of the course where we will be wide open.

that actually sounds pretty reasonable. how high in the RPM are you getting during the readings do you think?

There is no point on comparing any other sound test (i.e. Best Motoring, etc.) as every track day will measure sound differently. It sounds like most singles with a cat will pass at Laguna, which is a ridiculous sound level really. :thumbdn:

Seriously, why would a track put a sound level lower than the California legal limit...I guess the rich people that have Laguna in their back yard have some political sway.

i'm running at laguna next week. if there are any guys running singles i'll have to quiz them on the details of their setup. like i said definitely seen guys getting flagged in the past and other messing around with elbows that seemed to have worked... and some that didn't.

I am not sure where the meter was, but I get close to if not hitting the rev limiter in 2nd at most events.

My exhaust, Apexi, will. And it is for sale. Look at my Massive part out sale thread in for sale section. You can hear it first.
