Default simple question

I Have a Remus exhaust, which is a little louder than stock, by maybe a DB or 2.. very minimal..

i want something that gives a little more volume, but no drone, so i was looking at the Invidia V4 (Q300) and from what i hear, and see on videos, it seems just right. I havent heard one in real life yet.. so heres my question

I have also owned a gutted HKS exhaust (resonator cut off)
and i absolutley hated it, droned real bad and gave me a headache on long drives..

will the Invidia be the same? I hear HKS is a relatively quiet exhaust? But i dont hear much about the gutted version.
So anyone that may know, how does the V4 compare to a gutted HKS?

Does anyone have any DB readings on the V4? I would be interested to see what they are compared to a stock exhaust

I've always heard of customers complaining out the Invidia exhausts. When I had the J's 60RS, it was perfect. Even better WITH a test pipe. W/O a test pipe, it was quite (to not don't gain any unwanted attention), and it still sounded amazing during VTEC and full throttle.

Little more than the price range your looking at, but maybe we can work something out with you.

The J's is loud... I have the dual 60mm on my car and while the sound is nice, the drone is annoying. Also the hanger on the resonator seem's to break off the exhausts very commonly. Happened to the two that I have owned along with many others on the board.

All I know is that the Invidia q300 is the quietest Invidia exhaust, and shouldn't even be compared to the others
