Should I paint headlights or have the lens smoked?

Default Should I paint headlights or have the lens smoked?
Well like the question states i cannot decide of painting the insides of my headlights (near diffusers) will look better or having the lenses smoked. I have an ap1 spa.. Any suggestions pics please?

If you really want to, I would open them up and paint the insides. I'm really not a fan of modifying the outside lens and ruining the perfect light output of our cars.

Thats what I was thinking. Then I could get one of those clear diffusers, instead of the amber///
