Default Seibon MG Wing install help!

So I read that the MG SS wing uses the same hole as the OEM wing. I went and look under the trunk and tried to match up the hole with the Seibon wing and it doesnt match!! The MG wing is short about an inch off of the hole.

Should I just mark and drill the hole? I don't wanna screw up and end up with 2 holes on my trunk. Does anyone have this problem?

Are the stock holes different for AP1 and AP2? My AP1 fit perfect. There were two indentions in the metal on the underside of the trunk. Point and drill. Fits perfect.

I'm not sure. I have an AP2, and I do see the indentions. Putting the wing on top, the holes doesn't match the screws. =\ I guess I'm gunna have to mark and drill different holes.

I didn't do it that way.

I drilled exactly in the middle of the OEM indentions and then bolted the arms in (separated). I also put some 3M double sided tape under the arms so it coushions the turnk lid and seals the screw hole. Don't forget to touch up paint the drill holes. Also, you may have to bend the brackets on the wing itself outward just a little. Use wide pliers with a rag so it doesn't scratch.

Actually this sounds best! Looking at the brackets on the wing, it seems to be perfectly straight. Would bending the bracket mess with the carbon fiber wing? Bending an inch is alot!

Well I bent them both outward just a bit. First I bolted down the arms and then put the wing on. It stretched itself just that little bit to align ok. Functionality does not change if that's what you're asking.

I wish it was perfect but this is Seibon so can't expect much.
