Default Scripting out softtop?

Dear S2K family members! just wondering has anyone taken out there softtop plus motors? If so, is it a big job? And what should I have in mind before proceeding? Thanks

doit! lol yes i did! plan to sell my soft top with glass cuz i went hardtop, my wife helped me took about 4 hours, take seats out, then all plastic behind you, then just star unbolting stuff, longest part is taking seats and plastic trim out. i was suprised how much that stuff wieghs.

i think the whole softop assembly is around 60lb. when i get a hardtop im deff throwin that shit out

I only wanted the softtop and motors out? What those the plastic and seats got to do with getting the softtop out? Cheers

You need to remove the seats and all plastics to be able to remove the soft top. It's easy just takes a couple hours.

That's great! So the softtop motor is behind the seats? I can't wait to get rid of that 30kg of weight!
