What pressure plate are you guys pairing with the ACT HDSS? The stock pressure plate, ACT full face, or the ACT 6 puck

I think you mean the clutch disc not the pp. your suppose to use the act yellow pressure plate with their full face disc of the oem stock disc. The 6 puck will hold more power but will drive like shit on the street in stop and go traffic.

I have not not but in term of clutches I only recommend the act Hdss or if u need something that will hold more power, a twin disc is the only answer. Single disc puck clutches take away a lot of street drivability.

I've used an OEM disc with an aftermarket PP. While the aftermarket disc held over 440 whp, the stock disc started slipping much earlier. I considered putting the aftermarket disc back in, but wasn't willing to pay the noise penalty.

A few months ago, I made the same decision as riceball777 and purchased the SOS Twin Carbon clutch. It appears to be the only streetable option for those of us over 500 whp. My only real concern is how much noise it will make. It will be going in late this winter with a bunch of other, minor parts and hopefully I will have some driving impressions by late spring or early summer.

It will only make a ver minor noise when you are idling the car and your foot is in the clutch /clutch is disengaged
