S2000 Splitter & Aluminum Undertray Flat Bottom
Hey, I hope everyone is doing well and are safe during these times.
I finally had the urge to start working on my s2000 again, so I built a splitter and undertray
Splitter (ABS Plastic, reason cheap material easy to work with, won't get mad if it breaks)
template was wood (final product is ABS)
I then proceeded to build aluminum tire deflectors.

Thank you, searched ebay for cheap naca ducts, they have different variations for them, they all serve the same purpose, no point in spending top $ for a name brand when the generic will be good enough imo

Good work! I'm surprised you didn't have an exhaust cut out like the other major companies do. I believe Password did it for their kit too.
Still looks good. Any pictures of the tire deflectors in the wheel well?

There is a reason why i didn't want an exhaust cut out. (higher the temp, the faster the exhaust will move) Yes I know the cockpit will become hotter but it's not a daily.
I will try to remember when I get home

Also curious about your mounting here. Are those just self tappers in the frame rails?

LOL no, I had to build a frame for this to mount into. I have another s2k which i plan to adjust the frame and mount it differently. I have self tapping screws for holding it to test if it will vibrate, so far nothing. I have stainless steel rivets which i plan to replace the self tapping screws with.

Amazing job!
So if I understood, the end goal is a purpose built frame that is riveted to cars chassis, then the undertray bolts to that, correct?
Might I suggest using dzus fasteners to attach undertray to your purpose built frame? Then its much easier to remove and reattach for service, etc.
