S2000 CR Front lip, good or bad?
I just looked at a black CR in person and asked a few people with me what they thought of it. I personally loved it and actually think it made the car look better. From the side, I can see where that straight edge stands out a little, but not as much on the black. Someone told me they like the S2000 how it is since it's sleek and the front lip makes it look chunkier.
I personally like skinnier cars without too much added on and feel that a lot of the exterior modifications I see on this forum are too extreme. However, I think the Type-S/CR front lip gives a fuller appearance. After using the Japanese Honda website to customize the car, switching between normal and type-s really shows how plain it looks without the front lip. I think the CR lip is also a little smoother than the OEM lip too even though its much bigger. There aren't as many sharp edges. This is all just my opinion and I'm sorry for ranting.
Should I shell out a lil above 500 bucks (that's shipping included) to get one from hardtopguy?
Here's the site used to see the comparison 3 dimensionally.

thanks for sharing that 3d link. I have been on the fence on if to get the Mugen spoiler or the CR one. This has been helpful in seeing what this looks like from multiple angles.

I am also considering this lip. I like it, i think looks good. Most important I believe S2K lacks downforce and i dont feel safe after 110mph. I think the lip will help

If you are looking for downforce / reduction in lift, consider getting the rear wing as well. I don't have numbers to back me, but I would imagine the CR lip was designed with the CR wing to work in conjunction. Good luck!
