Well, new brakes are on the car. It took me about 2.5 hours to install new rotors and pads all around.

Drilled/slotted rotors definitely have a certain sound to them, but it's only noticeable with the top down and a curb or buliding to reflect the sound back at you. Braking is smooth though, and there's plenty of bite.
looks great - thanks for posting the photos.

please keep us posted on when and if they show rust. i will do the same with the centrics rotors.

we'll see how the hold out after washing, since we don't get a lot of rain here in san diego.

Looks good. I might do the same. Where did you get them? How much were they?

Good thread.

I think everyone that gets aftermarket should post here to see which rotors rust which dont. Which ones are quiet which ones make noise.

I got the 88rotors all around and they rusted

Not to mention after the heavy rain, they started to squeak like crazy !!! I have to change them out cause they are pissing me off.

Im probably gonna go back to OEM if there is no good reviews on aftermarket rotors

I spray painted the center of my rotors black, they hold up fine. Those SOS ones look awesome though! When I need to change my rotors, those are something I would consider!

I ordered directly from the manufacturer, RacingBrake. Roughly $450 shipped, so about a $200 premium over a set of Centrix blanks.

No major complaints so far. I've been rained on a couple of times, and had the typical surface rust that sweeps away on the first use. The coated portions are holding up fine.

I did notice that the pad doesn't quite sweep the entire rotor face, so there's a small orange ring at the inside edge of the rotor face. I'll snap a pic one of these days, but it's not really obvious unless you're looking for it.
