rotors and rust

Decided to go with the one above....it's made by RB (RacingBrake), and it is fully coated before the face is ground. We'll see how they hold up to normal use...

seriousely dude who gives a **** if the slots and holes are coauted they are going to get filled shut with breakdust b4 they start to rust

Because it's one thing if the slots/holes are covered in brake dust. It's another thing entirely when they're orange with rust. I live in a wet/humid climate, as long as I'm paying for new rotors, I might as well get what I think will stay clean looking the longest.

stolitonic, I'm planning to stick with OEM pads, at least for now.

If I wanted blanks, I would definitely order those from Centrix.

However, I decided to pay ~$200 extra to get nicer looking drilled/slotted rotors. Yes, it's a purely cosmetic decision.

I would run rotora rotors. I have seen them and washed cars with them installed, they dont rust and they can be ordered with OEM style design (no slots or holes).

any difference really between centric and rotora rotors? am considering just getting blanks (non slotted, non drilled).

No firsthand experience, but I've done a lot of research over the past few weeks. Heard nothing but good things about centrix. Heard mixed reviews on rotora.
