Rock chip in winshield
So a semi truck kicked up a rock today and smacked me on the windshield. I have a small crack just a bit smaller then a penny size. I know there is sealant stuff at the auto part store, but does anyone have first hand experience with anything specific that will help not only seal, but hide the damage? its eye level and its really bothersome, though i dont want to have to pay to change a whole windshield for that one small ding. If there isnt a way to hide it sufficiently, I am considering sealing it, and then tinting the window to help mask it, anyone see any issue with tinting it? Thanks!

Had mine replaced not too long ago. Just over $200. If you have full coverage insurance more than likely they will repair for free. If the chip can't be repaired your policy may allow for the entire thing to be replaced at no cost to you. It's a safety issue.

I had one repaired a few years back. The pace just melted the glass where it was broken and you couldn't even tell anything was ever there! I'm planning having it done again since my last track day a ZO6 on R-comps threw one at me and cracked my windshield haha. I remember it costing like $20, as long as it is smaller than quarter.
