Not that I know of. I read a thread on here of a guy who did before and after dynos with the HKS, but they were on different days. Similar conditions, but different days. When I get my new S, I'll try my best to do dynos on the same day before/after installation. If the dyno place will let me come back that same day, that is.

Mine too! My left muffler sits a lil higher than my right exhaust. It kind of bugs me considering all my aftermarket exhausts has had this problem. I am running ap1 rubber hangers with MY04. I have ap2 rubber hangers in my garage and was thinking if I used the ap2 rubber hangers instead of the ap1 rubber hangers would it even out the mufflers. I'm just one of those peoples who gets aggravated because its uneven. Any tips?
Losen the bolts nearest to the muffler. Have someone hold the muffler tip up against the bumper while you tighten the bolts. Do the same to the other side.

BTW, do not remove the resonator, its the canister in the middle of the HKS that can be removed (as pictured above). If you remove the resonator you will get a higher pitch sound from your HKS.

Test pipe definitely NOT legal in CA. We're fussy about touching any emissions controls. Anything like that needs a C.A.R.B. executve order (EO) number proving it has been emissions tested and accepted by the state. In case you didn't know, a test pipe will allow your car to spew much more toxic gas and unburned fuel into the air.
yes Mr. environmentalist, a test pipe takes 5 minutes to put on and take off. if u are worried about toxic fumes going into the atmosphere write the division of transportation and have them do something with big rig semi exhausts. hks gets my vote for best bang for you buck exhaust system

Hey, I had electric-valved cut-outs (!) on my C5 Z06 so you've got me wrong. The sound was pure NASCAR roar and scared the paint off other cars. Just know what laws you're violating and the choices you make.

no extra drone for me. At least not enough to be bothersome. It makes it a little louder, not by much. It changes the tone to be a little deeper. It sounds a bit more aggressive without becoming obnoxious.
