Default reupholstering my seats?

What do you guys think about reupholstering my oem black seats to all red leather seats instead of buying some used worn out red leather seats. Has any one changed there colour over and looked good??

Some more details would help. What color is the exterior? The interior?

Have you looked in the Interiors subforum?

my whole interior is all black and exterior is silver I heard it's about 15 to 2000 grand to do the reupholstering which isn't to bad if you think about it and i dont like the look of seat covers. i was just mainly wondering if someone has recovered their oem seats and how they turned out. Did a search but not to many people do it. I just think it's a good idea considering then i have like new seats. I'll check out the interiors part. I didn't even know that was on here lol.

Yeah I have a set of these and people can't tell they're covers. They look quite awesome.

I like the idea of aftermarket seat cover replacement but I wonder if you would also need to have some red trim on the doors or elsewhere to fully execute the red theme.
