Default Replacing window on Mugen style Hardtop

I am thinking about buying a used hardtop and it has a clear Lexan window on it.
Knowing that you cannot tint it I would want to replace it with a smoked one or with real glass.

Has anyone removed a Lexan window once it was installed on a FRP mugen style top?
Is it possible without damaging the hardtop?

Thanks in advance!

It's glued in, could peel off paint removing the trim?
