Default repair seats? or seat cover?

Considering options right now since my 06 seats are starting to tear and break down on me...
Regarding how to fix them

Bandaid with clazzio seat covers?

Or repair and have the seats redone entirely with new leather? They are not toooo bad but for resale value if i ever have to part with her.... Whats a better option? Oem seats worn and covered or oem seats with new bolsters completely redone with black leather?

I would refresh the seats over seat covers. I haven't seen one well executed seat cover.

My suggestion is to reupholster at least the side bolsters in ultrasuede or alcantara!!!

Local upholstery guy I've been going to for years would recover the bolster for around $100 with identically matching leather as far as the eye could tell.

Have shop repair bolster, re-dye the the creased/damaged leather and clean and condition it. I'm planning to tackle this myself in the near future. Another option is just buying the seat bottom OEM foam.

My current issue is more in the center section. They seem to be splitting for no reason because I keep them well conditioned. I think I will just get them recovered it seems like a safer bet and I'm sure a potential buyer would appreciate close to OEM quality on something redone which will benefit them anyway. Disclaimer: being I don't plan to sell the car
