Removing soft top AFTER Hard Dog bar installed
I'm getting ready to install my new Hard Dog roll bar with welded double diagonals and lower harness bar. I'll also be getting a hard top in the near future. Is it possible to remove the soft top with the Hard Dog bar already installed? Especially difficult? If it is, I may have to go S2000 coupe earlier then planned.

I don't think its possible because when I traded my soft top for a hard top, I had to take out almost everything in the back. I had to remove my stock roll hoops to remove the soft top. So Im assuming the Hard Dog roll bar will be in the way of the other panels surrounding it.

Lets say the Hard Dog bar and the factory bulkhead was the only pieces left on the interior then do you think it'd be possible?
The only parts I put back in is the rear tray for the soft top which can come back out easy and the glove box which can also come out easy. I elected not to try and put anything else back so I've got a lot of stuff not in the way. I just don't know what all holds the soft top parts in.

I was able to remove the soft top with the Hard Dog bar installed and rear bulkhead still in place. It was very straight forward, though a few of the frame mounting bolts were a bit difficult to get to. You do need a helper when removing the top and frame from the car, but there were no real issues for a driveway mechanic.
Note, if you want to use the quick release rear hardtop mount, you need to get the CR's mounting bracket (Part #'s are 86121-S2A-A00 & 86171-S2A-A00, around $65). It replaces the soft top's frame mount which the hardtops's receiver attaches to. Or you can save a little weight and permanently mount the hardtop using Izzy's brackets.
