I strongly recommend waiting until you replace the pressure plate before removing the delay valve. My clutch was slipping very slightly so i removed the delay valve and all of a sudden it was three times worse. If i shifted at 8k into second my clutch float until i shifted into 3rd.
The delay valve is there not only to protect the diff but to cover up the piece of garbage pressure plate that doesnt even hold near stock power.
Wait until you get a new pressure plate before removing! I installed clutch masters stage 3 and ap1 flywheel and man does it grab!

Done 10+ cars in the area with no such issues. Seems to be 1/100 or maybe you just drive it wrong. The only thing removing the CDV will do for you is accentuate a problem you had before.

Yeah I did notice at first my clutch wasn't grabbing right when i shifted hard from 3rd to 4th. It was because i had some bubbles in my clutch fluid, but after 30 mins of driving it went away and hasn't came back. Car feels like it runs strong now and loving it way more now.

I never liked the CDV. (I drove my friend's 05 many times). It made it feel like I was shifting sloppy. It kinda reminds me going from a DBW car to one with a throttle cable. Night and day difference.

Glad you're liking it Cam. Im glad to help you guys out where I can. I just wish I had a lift here, make life a lot easier. I never drove mine hard really before I removed my CDV, but just listening to yours while driving next to you is enough. Just let me know when you're ready for the clutch and we'll do it to it...

Since my warranty expires next month I will do this then. I doubt that I have any problems with the clutch being driven so little.
How big of a job is this?
