I was wondering how do you remove the part of the leather center console that is under the radio. Do you have to remove part of the dash?

Is there step by step instruction for removing the carpet?

no need to touch the dash at all. the center console has 4 clips that snap in, 2 in the front , 2 in the back.

feel around the end edges & u should be able to pop loose the 2 clips on the back. then do the same on the front.

I took of the center console already ... the difficult part is getting the leather piece that is under the radio.

just pull and wiggle it back and forth. it will come out eventually. no need to remove the dash.

Yeah it will come out with some tugging. Getting it back under there is another story. I just cut the excess part off when I put my new one on and the radio door bezel hides it.
