Rear spoiler or side strakes?
#11
Never buy the side strakes. They make you drill like a 1/2 inch hole on the side of the car and they rarely end up being well mounted. You usually end up needing to remove them and then are left with a huge hole that needs to be filled some way or another. Deff go with the oem spoiler
rarely mounted well? give me a break, mine still on straight after 145k, with tons of track day and i am on a coilover.

Definitely the oem rear spoiler. Side strakes are a waste of money imo. If you like them then go for it but I'm not a fan especially for the money and having to drill into the car.
If you want aggressive and if you haven't done so a drop and wheels make the biggest visual difference.

I bought my car used and it had the OEM wing, strakes and lip. The lip grew on me quickly, the wing eventually grew on me and I'm going to keep it. But those strakes... I took them off and then discovered the holes on each side They were just a distraction as far as looks went and served on conceivable purpose.

side strakes are nice but not noticeable unless you know what to look for, and for the price it isn't worth it imho unless the person in the groupbuy ever produces them. not a fan of the oem spoiler, but of the two choices i'd probably say the spoiler otherwise i'd say save your money for something else.

Like they said, side strakes are def. less noticable, but im not a fan of the OEM spoiler, i prefer Veilside or BYS or even Duckbill but Duckbill < Veilside < BYS
I think the car has a little to much of a drop when it comes to the rear end, as it seems to end to abruptly, thats why i like those 3, but duckbill and BYS have the third break light delete, and Veilside to some looks a little weird from the back if your looking at the car from a lower perspective.
