Rear drive axle spacers

Rear drive axle spacers
Ok lowered my AP1 S and heard about axle spacers to eliminate shaking effect that the driveshaft angle creates. This is due to the fact that lowering a S2000 creates unwanted space in between the driveshaft roller and spider (inside of the driveshaft), causing the inboard joint to unevenly wear out. Has anyone used these after lowering an S, and if so do they work. They retail for about $180.00, just want to know if they are worth the money or would it be better to just replace the axles??? Thanks

Save the $$, swap buckets when they start to vibrate.

Like Freq said...just swap the inner CV buckets for free and forget the spacers. Spacers won't make the CVs last longer on a lowered car. Go to the Under the Hood forum and look for the loooong thread on spacers and learn what they are really doing to solve the vibration.
