FIA the only way to go when putting in a racing seat.

Love my recaro pole position  I had a carbon kevlar memory fab seat in my car for a week and while it was much lighter and honestly felt as rigid it just wasn't as comfy and you could tell the quality was lacking a little bit compared to the recaro. I'd imagine you'd find the same thing with the seibon.

and if you are looking for a hardcore race bucket look at that racetech above. I've heard nothing but good things about those seats and for good race seats how comfortable they are.

I'm going to order one as soon as my Sparco Evo expires.

I think I want to get something with a halo and that's FIA homologated. I am going to shove the Buddy Club to the passenger side (for the track).

Be aware for events that you have an instructor ride with you.

There is the unwritten rule that the instructor/passenger will have the same level of safety protection the driver has.

I know what seats i want but i just don't get how they are making any money selling kevlar seats for less than 800 and how much recaro is making by selling plastic seats for 800 and kevlar seats for 3 to 6 grand.
you have to also remember that seibon doesnt generally use a "dry" carbon process... most of their carbon is wet lay with a sandwiched fiberglass layer...

im willing to bet if you weigh the three seats they will be equal or the name brand fiberglass will be lighter

my 2 cents
