Default Quick way to adjust your top's Strikers

I can't find this one thread where you take off your soft top's strikers by putting on a longer bolt and 2-3 washers, anyone have it bookmarked or something?

It's the only way I know of. Do you have hardtop strikers? How long have you had the strikers you have now? They are known to wear out a little bit.

Since the car was made

I'd say it started to lose it's tightness about a year half ago.
