Thumbs down Questions for Amuse R1000 owners!

I bought an exhaust a while back that was claimed to be an Amuse R1000. I took the guys word for it (he gave me a hell of a deal if it is a real Amuse). It has no writing or logos on it. I'd like to know if it is authentic.

First of all, is it supposed to be a 2-piece exhaust?

Second, are the two pieces held together with springs?

Seems kinda weird for a $2000+ exhaust to be held together with 3 weak a$$ springs!
