Question about my Voltex GT Wing Type 3
#21
Mount your stands on the inside of the L braket feet and on the inside of the dry carbon wing mounts. This should help some. I would not run the gt risers, those were designed more for people with j's height (195mm) that want to go higher. A 3D wing losses its purpose once it is mounted above the roofline, it still works fine but the whole purpose of the 3d midsection is to function correctly below the roofline.
This wing should generate more downforce than you need on the 275mm so make sure you get your AoA dialed in correctly. I have seen this wing deform trunks at high speeds, Voltex even warns that the wing is not for speeds over 143mph but that could be like the old "for race use only" warning that comes on everything now days.
My type 3 still moves when I go over bumpy areas at slow speeds but does not seem to move as much at higher speeds with the 275mm titanium stands I made for it. MM and Red@9K are using them too so maybe they will chime in with their experiences.
