Quaife Differentials?

Quaife Differentials?
All,
I know, I know, before doing any mods I should know exactly what I what the mod to do. I know jack about cars, so I wanted to get some input regarding the Quaife diffrentials- what kind of a difference will I notice with these? My car is a 2005 ragtop, normally aspirated. I friend put some in his bmv and loves them, but that's probably comparing apples to oranges. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I agree on the part about experience, but even on the street you'll notice the difference. I'd focus on other parts of the car before worrying about an LSD, though. The stock unit is fine for a mildly modded car.
