q300 single long term feedback needed
How's it going?
I'm looking for a single exhaust that is quiet enough for use on a daily driver, at a good price point. The q300 single fits the price and styling marks, and I've read that they are on the quieter side, when compared to other single exhausts. But I'm specifically looking for feedback from someone who has had the exhaust for an extended period of time, and had lived with it for long trips and/or daily driving, since it seems the sound of exhausts tend to change over time and mileage.
Please include if you're running a stock cat, HFC, or test pipe. Also, how the drone is with your setup.
I was looking at Berk's single system, but it looks like it's a bit on the loud side.
If anyone in the mid Atlantic area had one of these exhausts and wouldn't mind letting me listen to how it sounds in person, that would be awesome.
Thanks!

I have the q300 and I would recommend it. It really is only loud when you get on it. It's quite when you need it to be. I have a stock cat. Drone is there a little bit, but it isn't to the point where I want the ride to end.
good luck.
good luck.

Do you have the dual q300 or the single, your pic shows a dual exhaust. Either way thanks for the feedback.

Sorry I must have misread! The single is similar. It will have a little more drone and will be louder then the dual. You will probably see a little more HP gains as well. But it will be minimal.
Not a bad choice imo.

I had the Invidia N1 single. Mine car had a stock cat and stock airbox. It had lots of drone and was just plain loud. After a 6 hour trip my head was ringing for hours and I'm genearally ok with louder exhaust. For perspective I also had a Megan single and it had even more drone and was louder than my Invidia N1 single. On a side note I liked how both of those exhaust sounded under acceleration to redline. I hope this can be some help for you.

Yeah, I've heard the n1 is pretty unbearable. I'm definitely going to stay away from it.
