If the alignment wasn't changed wheel centering shouldn't have been affected. It sounds like the hub is binding somewhere.

are you talking about the steering wheel dia ? if so im not sure that size it is ... its a sparco wheel..

the steering wheel is strait... im not talking about that im talking about when you are turning ( moving) and you let go of the steering wheel it should automaticly turn the car back the strait... not stay turned...

That would be my guess.

my 330mm steering wheel was similar to what you're describing. it takes more effort to turn and typically after a turn (let it be left, right or u-turn) i have to somewhat turn the steering wheel back the other way to straighten the car out. didn't think 30mm downsize would make such a dramatic difference, but it did. it feels good and you have more feel for what the tires are doing however.

i moved up to a 350mm and it's smooth like butter. the wheel whines back after a turn. im not quite sure if size matters here, but this from what i've experienced...

what i've heard from many reputable people and vendors is...that after you swap out the steering wheel, it'll be slightly off centered by 1mm+/- This needs to be adjusted during alignment.

for instance, when i replaced mine from oem steering wheel, the new one would sit slightly off centered (turned 1-2mm right) but car going straight. alignment would resolve this.

-make sure you're SRS reel is whined up properly just to make sure. this may or may not have an effect, but it's worth a shot. turn the reel clockwise until it stops and then half way counter clock wise.

-make sure your plastic hub isn't rubbing against the wheel or is tightly held up against anything.

I'd have to say the size of the wheel is irrelevant

I agree with Danny as my wheel was off center by a few mm's but it was corrected with an alignment.

It should rotate just as easy as an OEM wheel. As for what is exactly causing it

Check the UTH DIY there is a write up there, see if there is something different.

Like maybe a bundle of wires have gotten caught up somewhere are is applying just enough pressure not to allow it to return on it's own.
