Powder coating valve cover
Hey guys, my s2k busted a fuel line a few weeks ago and sprayed gas all over my valve cover which made most of the paint flake off so i'm looking to get it powdercoated. I've been looking all weekend and pretty much have it narrowed down to the j's racing valve cover, candy apple red, or I could save a couple hundred bucks and repaint it wrinkle red myself. What do you guys think? Pictures for reference:

Repaint it wrinkle red yourself. I've seen a few valvecovers get powder coated and a ton of grit filled the internals of the valvecover from the bead blasting/sand blasting process , every bolt hole was filled with grit as well. It was terrible. If you get yours powder coated you have to make sure that the shop doesn't get the internals of the cover filled with grit.

I had mine powder coated and I love it. This was Lollipop Red by Prismatic Powders. The guy I used only charged me $120 total. $100 for the valve cover and $20 for the spark plug cover.

My friend loved mine so much that I had one done for him in teal.
