Default PLM header installed - pics and write-up

Installed my PLM header today, and it was quite possibly the biggest joke of a header install I've ever done. It only took me 1 hour start to finish, all by myself on jackstands. If you can change your oil, you can install this header. The stock header came out the bottom, and the new one slipped in easier than the stock one came out.

The header came with new gaskets, a spacer, and a new donut gasket.

Stock header removed.

And a quick iPhone video, 2nd and 3rd gear.

I can't tell if it gained any power, and engine noise is only slightly increased at part throttle - definitely not unpleasant by any means. From 7k and up it's noticeably louder. Hope you enjoyed my review!

Also, in case anyone is wondering, I only paid $315 + 30 shipping for this header brand new through pipi_outlet on eBay via Best Offer.

Yes, but I think the forum sponsor includes a test pipe + CEL fix which I had no interest in getting. I have a 70mm HFC on the way.

Looks very well constructed. If they would have designed their own header, instead of stealing a design from someone else, then I could warrant buying it.
