Pictoral instruction on stock airbox mod
Anyone know where I can find step-by-step pictures in removing the stock airbox. I would like to modify it with the K&N drop-in.

Ummm... The reason it's called a "drop-in" is because you just remove the old filter, and drop it in..... There are little metal snap clips that hold the airbox lid on, and you just unsnap them, and the top pulls of. I think there are two on the back, and three on the front IIRC.

Sorry. I might be unclear. I meant to remove the stock airbox so that I can dremel the inside divider plate, but I would like some pictoral instruction in where the mounting points of the airbox are as I don't have any shop manual.

bb_00,
I performed the same modification you are referring to. I removed the "divider plate" as your calling it. I didn't have a manual or anything.
If I remember correctly there are three bolts (17mm, I think...) that hold the air box in place. First remove those bolts.
Second, I believe there is a wire for the intake air temperature sensor (maybe I'm wrong and it's something else?) that is connected to the back side of the box, between the box and the throttle body. You need to unclip this sensor in order to remove the airbox.
Once the box is out you can dremel all you want. I hope this helps!

Christopher
