people with greddy se exhausts
so i'm almost ready to purchase a used greddy se dual exhaust and i'm curious to know if there is fading for the burnt tips?
i really like the burnt tips, but occasionally i'll see some used ones for sale and the burnt tips seem to fade out pretty bad
so is that like a common problem or is there a way to take care of it like proper cleaning?
my car is silverstone and i think the burnt or polished tips would look good

I don't even know how many miles I have on my Go Tuning SE Single my tip isn't quite as blue as it used to be but I'm not that concerned. Not bad enough to make me wanna polish it.

My tips were fading, so I wetsanded the burnt finish off. I too was growing tired of the fake burnt look. It looks so much classier and nicer without the burnt finish imo.
Here is my old Silverstone. Picture set is from the time it was brand new, to the time I polished the burnt tips off. I dont have any good photos of the burnt finish fading, but after about a year year and a half it faded a lot.

I think most burnt tips fade over time.
My J's Racing 70rs tips were blue and now it's a lighter blue and it's doesn't seem to helpful if I apply metal polish to it.. just makes it worse..

thanks for the feedback guys!
dang the polished tips do look really good on silverstone. it's just a part of me still does really want the burnt tips (maybe cause i'm still young i suppose), but so far my build is very oem-ish, so polished tips would probably look better, i appreciate you posting the album
