Oil Drain Valves from JS2K

Can your insurance deny a claim, if the car isn't supposed to be on the road because of mods? i.e. Running a test pipe in CA makes your car not public-road legal, if you wreck on say, a public highway, can they say "Well it shouldn't have been on the road to begin with?".
I'm sure it could differ by state, but I don't think insurance companies could deny claims based on equipment violations, unless they could prove that the equipment violation actually caused the incident. Even then, I would bet they could not deny it. I believe they could just non-renew your policy.

I've been using them on all my lowered cars since 2004. Barring some ridiculous freak accident, the valve will not be damaged due to debris or speed bumps or rocks or curbs without significantly damaging other parts of your car (bumper, subframe, control arms, oil pan). If the valve breaks off or opens by itself due to a manufacturing defect, Fumoto USA will replace the motor.

I've had one on my S for about 2 years now. I love it! I have an X-brace up front and I feel it's kinda protecting the valve.
As for an oil pan for the CR; unless you are lowered the CR does not sit lower than a regular S2000, it shouldn't be a problem getting a low profile oil pan underneath the car. I bought mine from Walmart but do recall seeing an identical product at Autozone.

^I find the K&N Fipk actually frees up more room to get to the oil filter, torque damper though I can see being in the way.

Just put one on my NSX on my first oil change. Worries? None.

I had one but took it off. I have to jack up my car to get the oil pan under anyways so I might as well crawl underneath and undo the bolt. Just safer with the oem bolt.
