Wrong. No drilling. There is a bung used for something else in pre-06 that you can use for the new airflow sensor with the rubber to hold it in place. That is all.

AEM V2
I agree

Ah, I see, I wasn't for sure, I know that a guy around here drilled a hole in his Injen, before they came out with the MY06+ version.

Figures. . should have kept my mouth shut

The more air you can get into the throttle body area the more power gains you should see, but I do not understand how that is accomplished with just a pipe. You do not see marathon runners with a straw in their mouths while they are running do you?

Tan
You're having trouble understanding with your analogy because you've only half completed it. If a CAI is a marathon runner with a straw in the mouth then what is the stock intake? It's certainly not running without a straw as it's more restrictive than a CAI.

Stock is more like the marathon runner equipped with a gas mask or something.

Saw these on the www.hondatuningmagazine.com website

And of course version 1 of my favorite intake.

Another one is in the works that will be added to this thread is from PASSWORD JDM Company for our S2000, in full lightweight CF Splendor, and specifically designed for the S2000 (AP1 and AP2). It is so lightweight that it does not require alot of brackets and braces to hold it in place in the engine bay, yet its size is the biggest intake I have seen gulping the most air into the throttle body.

It looks like the ASM but bigger in size and lighter in weight, I have seen it already and also felt the weight of it; with my ASM in one hand and Password JDM in the other.
