Hey guys, i am tossing up between the aem v1 and v2 for my s2k, ive used the search function to try and chase up the dyno graphs for both in comparison but all the links seem to be dead.

can anyone help me out in determining if there is a noticeable difference between the v1 and v2?
also where the v2 makes more power over the v1?

thanks
Yes the V2 is better. Get the V2.

I know this is another K&N FIPK but this is a bit different that makes it a true Cold Air Intake.

K&N FIPK with Injen Heat Shield...

...combined with OEM vented hood.

Cold air is sucked in up top directly underneath the hood vents. You could hear the "sucking" sound while sitting inside the car.

Sorry, but IMO, it looks like a true Cold Water Intake.

That's not as bad as having an ARC intake under a vent, but it's the same principle.

How do you drive in the rain, or wash the car? If it were mine, I'd be worried some jerky kid would pour a Big Gulp in there!

That is why I have the Injen heat shield. Maybe you missed that. It protects the filter from water coming from above. It does work. I've driven in rain plenty of times and 2 snow storms so far.

A lot of dumb comments in the thread. A decent cai will make power hands down, if your driving in rain alot, its a easy fit to make a dome above your cai.

Oh and to compair a s/c to a fkin intake, you must be on crack or talking about a ebay tornado that goe sinside the intake lol :S:S

I think if you're going to be a baby about a few cuts in a piece of plastic, you have no business putting on an intake on your car in the first place.
