Default OEM seibon cf hood

First off, I wasnt really sure where to put this.

I put an OEM seibon cf hood on my car yesterday and the stock washer nozzles do not fit in the "pre-cut" holes. I guess my only options would be shaving the stock nozzles or drilling the holes to be slightly larger (which i dont want to do) Has anyone else with this hood had a similar problem?

Other than that i was EXTREMELY satisfied with the fitment. The gaps are even all the way around and the weave looks great.

any suggestions for the nozzle holes would be appreciated,
Jason

I would dremel the CF hood's holes larger to accommodate the washer nozzles.

Try aftermarket nozzles? They have smaller inserts and install differently since they're "universal" just avoid LED (if they still make those?)

So what's the weight difference? The OEM hood feels pritty light as is.

seibon CF hood is a little heavier than stock since stock is fiberglass to begin with.

I had the same problem as the OP, i just took a drill and just carefully shaved out the holes to be slightly larger, it wasnt a big deal at all, very simple very fast, very effective, everything fits like a charm now

Stock is Aluminum. The seibon and Oem probably weigh the same.

i have a seibon mg carbon fiber hood and its def lighter you can tell just by holding them up...and the predrilled holes are always a little bit smaller so it can fit all size nozzles
