Default OEM Seals on Vis Hardtop?

I was curious as to how the fitment would be with the OEM seals from the S2000 hardtop fit onto the Vis hardtop. I refer to where the drivers and passengers windows would hit the seal. ANd when I mean OEM seals for those I mean everything. Not just the rubber seals. Has anyone tried it? Any modding required?

Authentic mugen HT comes with the full OEM HT seals, so Vis will work the same.

Yes OEM side window seals would be a nice upgrade from the VIS ones. For the rear seal you dont need anything special. What came with the VIS top is fine, or whatever you can get at your hardware store is fine if you want to try to get something local. I am upgrading my seals to the ones spyder562 makes. He makes the hardware kits for superslows2k's hardtops on here, and they are OEM quality seals. They dont have that fold like the VIS side seals, and they also should have a better adhesive for them to stick to the top. They arent very expensive either, so try to PM him if you need some nice upgraded seals.

I got those same ones from spyder and they are perfect. but I was curious to see if similar to the soft top if adding that metal bracket to the window sill (like the soft top) will help with creating a tighter seal as opposed to the seal just attatched to the hardtop itself with no bracket. Is it even possible?

I just did this with my mugen replica hard top. I would reccomend using the metal brackets with the seals

Yes. Pics please. Definitely Interested in this setup. I tried it with the old seals by itself, and I was not happy. Air was coming in.
