Default OEM Hardtop Roof Wing?

I have been browsing around for a wile and couldn't find any OEM hardtop roof wings for our S2K's... It got me wondering why arent there any for the S2000? I think it would be a pretty nice subtle mod IMO for my OEM hardtop. Here are pictures of an example on a miata.

You would think that more parts development for a S2000 would be more than welcomed wether it's functional or just a visual mod... My .02

In my opinion it looks out of place, even on that Miata.

Now this is an opinion... Thanks Fernando! I agree with you in a way, but I have also seen these roof spoilers look very good with the right combination of body parts It wouldn't be a problem if for example you were going to a car show and BAM double side tape that thing on, roll out. Track day comes along just un-stick the wing from the roof, no harm no foul. Why not create a product that has a certain appeal...

No idea why there isn't one but I feel the same way driven does. I just don't see the purpose of this and I can tell you that I wouldn't stick one of those on my hardtop that now costs close to 4 grand. Honda did quite a bit of aero R&D and I think several of the race teams that make parts have also done it so had any of them found this to be functional there would be one available. The Miata doesn't look bad but I think that wing looks a little awkward. Its like the wing hatch backs have under the window which is completely pointless

Way uglier than the Miata but similar in pointlessness. Something else is the S has numerous different hardtop options where the Miata only has one. If it is your thing then great good luck creating your own but don't be surprised when others don't share your opinion.

I have seen quite a few when I lived in Japan. If they are mounted with double sided tape on a window I dont see it causing a problem with the OEM top. Yes I have a 4K OEM top too... But have no fear because being different and trying new things is how new parts get developed... Unless of course you dont like to welcome new parts...

P.S That Civic is just straight rice... That would have no purpose what-so-ever. BUT! If you think about it... (For shit's and giggles, in no way shape OR form was this tested and proven to be true) Wouldnt an "extension" of the actual roof line of the vehicle promote more "Clean" air to a trunk mounted spoiler such as a Voltex/J's (which is voltex)/APR

Asks why there's no hardtop roof wings for S2000s, is given a reason, then complains.

Maybe this whole forum/internet thing isn't up your alley?

How about a more elaborate reason:
because someone hasn't spent the time or effort to develop one because it's a tad bit gaudy.

Ahhh the duckbill... Kinda like a frat boy wearing his baseball hat backwards. Looks kinda goofy on that Miata, and seems like something the hellaflush crowd would get into.
