PSPE version NGK 92400 is the only Ruthenium HX plug for the S2000. I talked to NGK all about this plug and the S2000, before I installed a set into my NA S2000. These should be used on NA S2000s only. Boosted ones should use Iridium IX 8 or 9 heat range.

The NGK ruthenium HX plugs are fairly new(released around late winter/early spring this year), so they are still in the process of making other spec plugs. They may or may not make heat range 8 or 9 for the S2000.

Thanks for the info. The PSPE 92400 is what rockauto has I believe. They most probably will make an 8 heat range HX for our cars somewhere down the line. Even if they don't then the Iridium range has us covered.

Any more feedback? I'll likely buy the Iridium (7746) but would consider the Ruthenium (92400) if it was better.

No issues with the ruthenium plugs and Okada coilpacks after 7 months. Rockauto probably still has the best price on these, you can find a 5% off code in the sponsored marketplace.

Yes, thanks, I didn't even know RA was a sponsor! Even better! If there's no clear advantage on going with the Ruthenium plugs, I'll probably go with the Laser Iridium.
