Car is looking gorgeous btw!! Is the rubbing pretty bad? Have you checked the arch liner for some rubbing marks? I would say coilovers to make it sit perfect, but the ride isn't to everyones tastes!!

You couldn't take some of the pre-load off of the suspension lower bolt could you? BUT would it have an adverse effect to the handling or is it just ride height?? Just an idea and throwing it out there...
Thanks for the comments

The rubbing is, pretty bad. Mind you... its only the outer side of the tire that rubs to the arch but its almost constant as it would rub with the slightest of bumps.

I thought of having the ride height increased as well because the exhaust at the back is pretty low to the ground as well and is sometimes a problem for sleeping police, etc. You've got the go dead slow on them (the 1km sort of speed)

As it is... there's no way the car would go on any sort of ramp either

Those are some low springs. I didn't know they made lowering springs that go that low. It looks like its on coilovers because you have to be 2" or more lowered.
Double check that you don't have coilovers already on the car. In that case you can put it to any ride height you want. Easiest way to tell is open the hood and look where the top of the front suspension mounts (2 bolts with nuts on each side, you can't miss it). If there is a knob that makes a clicking noise when you twist it in the middle sticking up between the two bolts then you have coilovers. Or you could just take a a close up picture of the top of the suspension under the hood and we could tell if you have a coilover suspension or not.
You never know what you have when you buy a used car!

18's at stock height (not the best picture to tell the height)

18's dropped an inch with eibach pro kit springs

current 18's dropped an inch

Just to give you an idea of how stock and an inch drop look on 18s

Isn't on coilovers... checked that already. Been to my local mechanic as well and he reckons they're probably 60mm. I've decided to go for stock for the moment... see how it goes and if need be drop it by an inch or so at a later stage.

Will post some photos then...

Thanks for your help... and the pics!
