Default Need some opinions on rotors/brake pads

Hello s2ki, i was planning to replace all 4 rotors and pads on my s2000 but dont know which good aftermarket ones are out there for a daily driving s2000. I was thinking about just buying the oem pads, but dont know which aftermarket rotors best suits it. any of your answers will greatly help me in search of rotors or pads thanks.

Centric Premium Rotors < $50ea at Parts Geek.

I would stick to OEM pads.

OEM pads.

Honestly rotors don't matter as much. Go into ebay, type in s2000 rotors, get some that fit what you want

Also, inb4 argument of blanks vs slotted vs slotted/drilled.

I would go with centric blanks before I would go with any of the drilled/slotted you find on ebay (unless they are stoptech). And please stay away from password jdm rotors, I have heard nothing but negative reviews about them.

Check out the brake and suspension subforum, there are a lot of reviews on pads and rotors there.

I run Hawk HP+ pads. They're meant for heavy track racing but mine also suffice for daily driving.

I know others who complain about loud screeching noise while deceleration/braking when they are first installed but on my S there is absolutely no noise.

Out of curiosity, why do you feel that you should be changing your rotors?

$160 for some sick drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads! My question is, how good are these pads vs oem pads?
