Default need some advice

does anybody know how much hp you get when you install valves, valves springs, and retainers? is it worth it?

As far as I know you dont get any HP? unless you are going to P&P or have some mods done to the head.

If you are replacing springs and valves and valve guides to build HP save your $$$, if you want to P&P and increase the rev limit, find a good import engine builder and sit down and discuss your goals for the car and let them help you decide on what would be best.

if thats the case does anybody know a good shop? cuz i live in hawaii and some of the shops sell parts for outrageous prices

its a good idea to replace these with stronger parts when you modify your car. It will increase engine life and minimize the risk of engine damage. valve springs & retainers when paried with a camshaft can help produce more power on a modified engine. Check out Skunk2.com
