hey guys i need people from experience to answer my questions on spraying my volk ce28n.

1. is it ok to sand blast them with out them stuffing up?
2. is it bad to powder coat forged wheels?
3.also with powder coating will they turn out better then paint them and last longer or can i just paint them after sand blasting it?.
4. where can i get volk racing stickers to stick back on the wheel?

My wheels were powder coated by previous owner.. looks new even after 5 years. It holds up much better than painting. The receipt says $350 for all 4 wheels.

If you paint them yourself just do a really good job on the prep. It should last for a few years before any flaking.

Not really. Previous owner did a ghetto painting thing and these wheels are flaking like dandruff. Guy must have had little to no car experience as he painted the wheel acorns too - totally useless as it stripped the moment a gun was applied. Seriously, be an atypical American and when you do things, do them right the first time - powdercoat.

yes, powdercoating does weaken a forged wheel. how much? not too sure, you'd have to do a little more research on that. but it does have an effect.
