Default Need a Clutch

I'm in need of a new clutch coming up soon. I DID USE THE SEARCH but i am looking for a clutch that is QUIET and makes no buzzing sounds on deceleration. I have the A.C.T. stage 1 clutch and upon deceleration there is a buzzing/grinding sound that has been there and ever since day one i have never liked it.

I looked at the competition stage 4 but i've been hearing mixed feelings on it being quiet and being obnoxious at the sametime. i need help lol. Something that can grab 500whp for example

Not sure but since you need a clutch that is required to sustain 500hp.....you need atleast stage 3 or something right...and from what i've read...racing clutches are much more noisy than stock...on top...our tranny is rigght below us so....crapper for us...

another thing you can do is take off your seats and carpet and install sound deadening....this is for sure gonna reduce sound

ATS twin plate are quite quiet, the only noise is the friction between the plates, not sure if its the same as clutch buzz. But they can handle 600bhp. A bit on the expensive side though, but they do come with the a lightened flywheel too.

Your ACT pressure plate is probably just fine. You probably just need the disk replaced. My last one lasted 20,000 miles and I expect this one to last less.
