correct me if im wrong, but does the JDM version of the ap1s come with a clear diffuser and a bit of chrome hightlights around the projector? and by any chance, would anyone know the pricing for this setup?

i like the way the naked headlights look..
there are 2 kind of JDM headlights

1: chrome housing and white diffuser
2: black housing and white diffuser (just like USDM but no amber corners)

black housing with white diffusers are used around $650
chrome housing with white diffusers headlights are $900 used or 1200-1300 new from japan

are you serious? holy sh1t, ive been sitting on set of $900 headlights? didnt realize they went for that much...

Got some spare headlight insides in today. I think I am going to paint the reflective part part flat black to match the rest of the inside of the headlight and then do the naked look. Think it will look nice but haven't seen any pictures of that I don't think.

Just looked it up and they are 7443 bulbs for both turn signals and parking lights. Gonna pick up some amber led's to replace them.

Painted the reflective parts today. Hopefully get them installed soon.

Couple of the pics make it look much darker. A little different but not as different as it looks in the pics.

I guess there is a little gap from where the diffusers normally clip in but I think once inside the headlight won't really be noticeable much.

unless i'm mistaken, i'm looking at your sig and it looks like you installed the headlights. Could you post a bigger picture please? I've been following this thread, and i'm really anxious to see how they turned out so I can make the decision to rip apart my headlights or not.
