I need your opinion,

I just traded my ap2 headlights to ap1s since i think ap1s look better with amuse widebody.

but my question is. 2 options to pick from



1) Naked headlight corners (amber diffusers are out) BUT chrome housing is sprayed matte black?
Think that the corners will be just like this (like the picture shown below) but the chrome part will be black



OR




2) fully matte black painted corner lights, so basically no amber will be seen and the signal light will be barely visible or maybe wont be visable (depending on how many coats of paint i use)
in other words fully black corner diffusers


I hope my explanations were clear.

This is naked but chrome housing, wont be like this, but painted corners

if you paint the housing as it sits in that picture its not going to reflect very good, id go for the ricks diffuser or do the muller mod on you existing amber corners IMO

I think you should leave them naked but get orange colored led that way it looks clear but lights up orange at night

when i get a chance i want to make mines naked, for you i would get clear diffusers if you dont like the naked look

correct me if im wrong, but does the JDM version of the ap1s come with a clear diffuser and a bit of chrome hightlights around the projector? and by any chance, would anyone know the pricing for this setup?

isnt there a small gap, from where the diffuser used to sit when you leave the headlights "naked" ?

there are 2 kind of JDM headlights

1: chrome housing and white diffuser
2: black housing and white diffuser (just like USDM but no amber corners)

black housing with white diffusers are used around $650
chrome housing with white diffusers headlights are $900 used or 1200-1300 new from japan

Bump for pics of the black painted diffuser area. Interested in pulling my mulderized diffusers for the naked look.

Also anyone know what size chrome/amber led lights would be needed?
