I would however find that a bit annoying.

I did a freeway test today on my stock geared AP1 s2k at 65mph and it is 3500rpm on the nose. I thought 3000k rpm referenced by the OP was quite a bit low, even for the more over driven trans of the ap2 which should be about 3300.

There is a 3.90 gear set that some s2k boosted guys have gone to. If your car actually ran a true 3k rpm at 65 I would suspect you bought an ex boosted car with this gear set.

This engine was designed to run at very high RPM and it is normal for you to drive the car from 3-5k in normal everyday driving. 3-4k is normal for highway cruising so nothing to worry about.
This is an amazing graph. Thank you so much.

Except that its not accurate.

The differential between the ap1/ap2 is close, but not the baseline.

Ap1 does/

42mph 1st

64 2nd

90 3rd

115 4th

138 5th

165 6th tail wind and some good luck

Because what? Go drive the car and find out/confirm. I have.

Then verify with this, which is actually accurate. http://www.turnzero.com/technical_re...ear_calculator

My AP2 cruises at 4K @ 75 mph. The graph is not accurate.
