as far as the tenzo goes, not sure about R&D on it, but from my experience I did notice a big difference in the handling of my car at higher speeds. Also FWIW When I went on cruises and was side by side with a friend who has the authentic mugen on the highway, it was pointed out to me by fellow drivers behind me, that mine did not, flex (wiggle) like my friends mugen did.
Who's was that?

His isn't Mugen though.

oh I thought it was, well that explains it then Do you know what it is?

edit: Just looked at his pics, I have no idea what I was thinking lmao, not even close to mugen still can't tell what it is tho, APR

Pretty sure it's APR. It flexes and wobbles like crazy, there's no way it's functional at any speed.

Agreed, looks nice tho, just needs to be stiffer.

So Does the guy have the apr 200? you guys are saying that wing moves around a ton at speed? That's not good.

My biggest issue right now is I can't seem to find risers for the mugen wing IfI can't find risers I won't buy it thats for sure. Don't want to buy it and never find risers. I want it to sit higher.

Is there not an official wing thread on s2ki? It would be nice to know all the wings (including reps) that are made specific for the s2000. Is the tenzo wing s2k specific? I am guessing it isn't

maybe you can start an official wing thread. ask people to post what they have (type, height, rep or not) and experience.

I'm not certain which one it is, but I'm almost positive it's an APR. It is very flimsy, even stationary the wing flexes quite easily by pushing on it gently. When the car is moving it's wobbling up and down a lot, think of a piece of cardboard flapping in the wind.

There are definitely S2000 specific wings available, but most of them are of the JDM variety and hellish expensive, I'm certainly a fan of authentic products, but with a wing, it's very hard to justify IMO.

I would venture to guess there is one (or similar) in the racing subforum, as it would be more beneficial in there than here.

You don't want feedback on wings from people who do not track their car regularly.

This discussion has me thinking (not entirely a good think..lol):

Were the mugen and CR wings designed to work with hardtops only. I know the mugen has a "channel" in the middle and the CR I swear I read was designed to work with the hardtop more so than the top down/off. I could be wrong...I wonder if this is a factor worth considering.

It seems to be true. Otherwise with out a hard top it doesn't seem like the wind will even catch the wing very well at all.
