Default MUGEN HARDTOP Headliner

If you have a Mugen hardtop for your S2000, you may be interested in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of your interior by complimenting an alcantara, ultrasuede or tweed headliner to your cockpit.

In addition to providing a more refined and elegant feel to your interior, the headliner can also reduce cabin resonance by acting as a sound dampener. If you have a hardtop, you will be able to relate to the desire for the absorption of the sounds that are transmitted through the cockpit from the drivetrain and exhaust that can fatigue your ears.

Yes, Mugen hardtop ownership just got a little more sophisticated.

Asura, why dont you start a thread to judge the interest level for a soft top headliner. I would be in for one.

I'll do so. If we were to do this, I think it would make sense to only make it for the glass rear window soft-tops ie. '02 and up.

Reason being, if you won't upgrade your plastic rear window to glass, you probably won't want to 'upgrade' the top with a headliner as either you are 1) topdown most of the time, or 2) don't care.

How is the car?

Well its sleeping right now getting ready for a turbo upgrade here shortly. I agree on the 02 & up. I think it would be a whole lot nicer inside with some sort of liner! Maybe even get some sound deadening with it also.

Please PM me when you get a kit made for the OEM Honda Hardtop. The liner on my OEM top has been scarred up a bit and I'd love a different material option for it. This product looks great IMO.
